     OUTLOVE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA is overly excited to help out our companion film festivals to get back on their feet, and, at the same time, bring new, LGBT film festival films into our homes in Southwest Florida.

     Three long years of COVID-19 dealt a huge financial setback to LGBT film festivals in the U.S. and around the world, and, dried up the supply of new LGBT films.

     Florida’s two, long-standing, LGBT film festivals, in Miami/Fort Lauderdale and Tampa/St. Pete, are trying their best to bring back the LGBT film festival experience.

     Rather than start our own Southwest Florida LGBT film festival this year (we’ve been in a holding pattern for what? 5 years?), we decided to help out our companion film festivals.

     We are timely advertising their live, in-person, film festivals and we are timely advertising their at-home, online streaming, film festival films, that we can bring into our homes in Southwest Florida.

     The 26th semi-annual OUTshine Film Festival At-Home Edition, is showing to state-wide Florida residents a broad range of fifteen (15) films from the live, in-person, forty-seven (47) film line-up.

     The At-Home Edition’s Opening Day is Monday Oct. 28 and the Closing Day is Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024.

• Nine (9) men’s films (includes South Florida Filmmakers Showcase)
• Six (6) women’s films (includes South Florida Filmmakers Showcase)
• One (1) transgender film

     We can purchase our At-Home Edition, online-streaming tickets at outshinefilm.com beginning October 1, 2024. 

    We can watch our At-Home Edition films between Monday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024. State-wide ticket prices are $15 a piece.
